Feist dinlemek gecenin sessizliğinde büyüleyiciydi,ve şimdi Kings of Convenience'le beraber hafif bir hüzün oldu..Hüzünle karışık huzur oldu!seviyorum bu saf duyguyu, hissettiğim en içten duygu!Müzik dinlemek bir büyü benim için ve eğer yapabilseydim ,ibadet olurdu aynı zamanda ama yapamıyorum,şimdilik!!

Ağlayan Çayır beni inanılmaz etkileyen bunun da dışında hüngür hüngür ağlatabilmiş bir film ve bu etkileyiciliğini çok başarılı bir Theo Angelopoulos filmi olması kadar Eleni Karaindrou'nun yapmış olduğu şahane film müziklerine borçlu olduğunu düşünüyorum..Hüzne boğulmuş ama gram abartı içermeyen,dönemin(II. Dünya Savaşında Bolşevik devrimi sonrası Odessa'dan sürülen Rumlar) olağan trajedilerini işleyen filmde önce bir kız çocuğu sonra bir aşık ve en son da bir anne olarak Eleni'nin tükenmek bilmeyen gözyaşları da içimize işler.Film Eleni’nin etrafında dönse ve ilk sahneden son sahneye kadar hep Eleni görülse de, o bu filmde sadece bir figüran gibidir ve başrolde aslında erkekler vardır. Her türlü kötülüğü yapan, tüm savaşları başlatan, işkenceye başvuran, kovan, sahiplenen, bir ulusun tarihini ateş ve barutla şekillendiren erkeklerdir. Filmdeki orkestranın bile tüm elemanları erkektir. Eleni’ye kalansa bol bol gözyaşıdır.
